Terms of Use
These terms are the agreement between you and Culet Studio when you use our website, studio and embeds. Please read them: by using Culet Studio, you accept them.

1.About these terms
Culet Studio ("Culet Studio", "we", "us") is based in India and operates the website at culetstudio.com, the studio at studio.culetstudio.com, and the embeds we host (together, the "Service"). You can reach us at hello@culetstudio.com.
These Terms of Use ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, our Cookie Policy and our credit guidelines form the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. By creating an account, opening a file, exporting anything or otherwise using the Service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
If you use the Service for a company, you confirm you are allowed to accept these Terms for it, and "you" also means that company.
2.Who can use Culet Studio
The Service is built for businesses and professionals in the jewelry trade. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under the law that applies to you.
You may not use the Service if the law forbids it, or if we have closed your account before for breaking these Terms.
3.Your account
- You need a free account to use the full studio. The live demo on our website works without one.
- Give us accurate details, and keep them up to date.
- Keep your password safe and don't share your account. You are responsible for everything done through it.
- Tell us at hello@culetstudio.com straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
4.Free use and beta
Culet Studio is currently free for everyone, with no usage limits. The Service is in beta: features may change, be added or be removed while we build it.
If we ever introduce charges for features you use, we will tell account holders at least 30 days before, and nothing you have already made will be charged for. Paid options, such as using your own brand instead of ours on embeds, are agreed separately in writing.
5.The credit you give in return
Free use comes with one condition: you credit Culet Studio wherever you use what you make with the Service.
- 360° and 3D views: The viewer shows a small Culet Studio credit. Nothing for you to do.
- Product images: Add one credit line on every product page that uses them, for example under the gallery.
- Inspection reports: Shared reports carry a footer line: "Checked with Culet Studio".
For product images, the credit line must appear on every product page that uses them, where shoppers can see it. You may use this line:

Product images and 3D view: Culet Studio
You must not hide, remove, cover or change the credit shown in our 360° and 3D views. If the credit is missing, we will ask you to add it. If it is still missing 14 days after we ask, we may take your embeds offline, suspend your account, or both. Removing the credit is only allowed under a separate written agreement with us.
6.Your files
You keep all rights in the CAD files you open in the Service ("Your Files"). We don't claim any ownership of them.
When you open a file, the studio reads and measures it in your browser. The file isn't uploaded to us. When you export a 360° spin or a live 3D view, we store the rendered frames or the 3D model needed to show it (see Embeds).
For those exports only, you give us a worldwide, free, non-exclusive license to store, copy, convert, display and deliver them, only to run the embed for you and the people who view it. This license ends when the embed is taken offline, except for copies kept in backups for the limited time set out in our Privacy Policy.
You confirm you have the right to use every file you open or export, and that doing so doesn't break anyone else's rights or any confidentiality agreement.
7.What you make, and how you use it
Product images, 360° views and reports you make with the Service ("Outputs") are yours to use for your business, including for selling and advertising, as long as you give the credit in section 5.
Outputs are computer renderings of a CAD model, not photographs of a finished piece. Metal colors, stones, proportions and finish may look different in the real piece. You are responsible for how you present Outputs to buyers, including:
- describing the real item accurately, including its metal, karat or fineness, stones and whether they are natural or laboratory-grown;
- following the laws and rules that apply to you, such as consumer-protection and advertising law, the US Federal Trade Commission's Jewelry Guides, Indian hallmarking rules, and the image rules of marketplaces and shopping services;
- labeling images as renderings where the law or a platform requires it.
8.Measurements are a check, not a guarantee
Ring sizes, dimensions, weights, stone sizes, carat weights and casting checks are measured or estimated from the geometry of your model, using the methods on our How it measures page. Values marked est., inferred or approx. are calculated, not measured.
- Carat weights are estimates from the modeled stone, not the weight of any real stone.
- Metal weights are for the model. A cast piece weighs differently because of sprues, allowances, alloy recipes and finishing.
- A check that passes doesn't mean a piece will cast or set without problems.
- Culet Studio does not grade, appraise or certify stones, metals or jewelry.
Always confirm sizes, weights and stone details with your caster, setter or a qualified professional before production, quoting or sale. We are not responsible for recasts, remakes, pricing errors or other losses that come from relying on these figures alone.
9.Embeds
When you export a 360° spin or live 3D view, we host it so you can show it on your website or share it. Embeds show a small Culet Studio credit.
- We aim to keep embeds available, but we don't promise they will always be online, fast or error-free.
- You can ask us to take any of your embeds offline at any time.
- We may take an embed offline if it breaks these Terms or the law, if someone shows us it infringes their rights, if it puts the Service at risk, or if your account is closed.
- Use embeds reasonably. If one uses an unusual amount of traffic, we may contact you or limit it.
10.Acceptable use
When you use the Service, you must not:
- break any law, or help anyone else do so;
- open, export or share files you have no right to use, or that infringe anyone's intellectual property;
- use Outputs to mislead buyers about a real product;
- upload or share malware, or anything harmful, offensive or unlawful through embeds;
- try to break, overload, probe or get around the security of the Service;
- copy, decompile or reverse engineer the Service, except as the law allows;
- access the Service with bots or scrapers, or resell it, or offer it to others as your own product;
- hide or remove the credit, or any notice of our rights.
11.Our rights
The Service, its software, design, text, images and the Culet Studio name and logo belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms. Nothing else is licensed to you.
If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely, without owing you anything.
12.Other companies and links
The Service links to, and works alongside, services run by other companies, such as the live chat provider and the websites of software vendors. Their own terms apply to them, and we aren't responsible for them.
Our comparison pages describe other companies' products from information they publish, on the date shown on each page. Their products and prices may have changed since. The product names belong to their owners, and we are not affiliated with them. If you find something out of date, please tell us at hello@culetstudio.com.
13.Reporting content that infringes your rights
If you believe an embed we host infringes your copyright or other rights, email hello@culetstudio.com with:
- your name and contact details;
- the work you say is infringed;
- the address (URL) of the embed;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized, and that your notice is accurate.
We will review it promptly and may take the embed offline while we do. We may share your notice with the person who made the embed.
14.Ending or suspending use
You can stop using the Service at any time, and ask us to close your account at hello@culetstudio.com.
We may suspend or close your account, or take embeds offline, if you break these Terms, if the law requires it, or to protect the Service or other users. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. We may also stop offering the Service; if we do, we will give account holders at least 30 days' notice where we can.
When an account is closed, its embeds stop loading and its data is deleted as set out in our Privacy Policy. Sections 6, 7, 8, 11, 15, 16, 17 and 18 continue to apply.
15.Disclaimers
The Service is free and in beta, and is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises or warranties, express or implied, including that the Service will be accurate, uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. You use it at your own risk.
16.Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows:
- we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data, or the cost of recasts, remakes or replacement services, even if we were told it might happen;
- our total liability for all claims about the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or INR 5,000.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud.
17.Your responsibility to us
You agree to cover us for claims, losses and reasonable costs (including legal fees) that come from Your Files, your use of Outputs, or your breaking these Terms or the law, including claims that something you opened, exported or published infringes someone else's rights.
18.Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute arises, please contact us first at hello@culetstudio.com, and we will try to settle it in good faith within 30 days.
If we can't, the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. If the law of the country you live in gives you rights that can't be changed by agreement, those rights still apply.
19.Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We will change the date at the top, and for important changes we will tell account holders by email or in the Service at least 15 days before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the new Terms. If you don't accept them, stop using the Service and ask us to close your account.
20.General
- If any part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
- If we don't enforce a right straight away, we haven't given it up.
- You may not transfer these Terms to anyone else without our written consent. We may transfer them, for example if Culet Studio is sold or reorganized.
- We aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
- We may send you notices by email or in the Service. You can send notices to us at hello@culetstudio.com.
21.Contact and grievances
Questions about these Terms: hello@culetstudio.com, or our contact form.
Complaints about the Service or about content we host can be sent to the Grievance Officer, Culet Studio, at hello@culetstudio.com. We will acknowledge a complaint within 24 hours and aim to resolve it within 15 days.
